Ahmadi Muslim Youth, from Cardiff, spent their Christmas Eve spreading cheer to all in need.
Volunteers from my community, Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) Cardiff, went on to the streets of Cardiff and gave away bedding, including duvets, towels and pillows to the less fortunate of society.
The young people, aged 10 to 30, also offered hot drinks to the homeless in Queen Street, St Mary Street and High Street in Cardiff.
More than 20 volunteers will be up at the crack of dawn to work their way across the city centre, sweeping and litter-picking after leaving early- morning prayers on New Year’s Day at our mosque in Sanatorium Road, Canton.
We welcome people from all walks to life to join us in starting the year on a clean note.
We in the AMYA always look to help in the development of young Muslims, and our organisation has been particularly successful in ensuring that its members are a source of peace for society. We can be seen regularly in public spreading our motto of Love for All Hatred for None.
