Members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Germany Have Honour of a Virtual Meeting with the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community during their National Ijtema
“It is the quality of a true believer that he tries to establish the Oneness of God Almighty at every opportunity” – Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad
On 21 August 2021, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad held a virtual online meeting with members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya (Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Auxiliary) from Germany during their Annual Ijtema 2021.
His Holiness presided the meeting from his office in Islamabad, Tilford, whilst almost 1,500 members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya joined virtually from the FSV Stadium in Frankfurt. The Ijtema was held after a period of two years as COVID-19 restrictions meant the National Ijtema of 2020 could not go ahead.
Following a short formal session starting with recitation of the Holy Quran, members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya had the opportunity to ask His Holiness a series of questions regarding their faith and contemporary issues.
One of the attendees asked His Holiness if he found his work and responsibilities as the Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community difficult.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“Of course if you are to do your work with due care, then it is difficult. But Allah the Almighty makes it easy and the work gets completed. Almost daily I manage to finish the tasks for the day. But still I remain worried that may I be able to fulfil the rights owed to my tasks and that if I do not do so, I may incur the displeasure of Allah. So in this way it is difficult. Otherwise, for anyone who is to carry out any task with complete sincerity then it is demanding and one has to work hard to achieve it.”
As the meeting concluded, His Holiness advised the attendees of the true purpose of coming together for the Ijtema.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“The Ijtema will only be of benefit if you understand your true purpose. If a person does not know his purpose of life, then there is no benefit of what he does. The purpose of one’s life as explained by God Almighty is that, ‘I have created human beings for worshipping me.’ An Ahmadi Muslim should know that this is the purpose of his life. He must establish a link with God Almighty and so, the different Ijtemas and Tarbiyyat gatherings and your Jalsa – that is due to take place in the near future – they are all organised for the sake of improving people’s moral, educational and spiritual state. After gaining knowledge, if you do not apply it to yourself and do not act upon it then there is no benefit to these Jalsas.”
His Holiness also appreciated how the Khuddam selflessly served the people in Germany who were afflicted by the floods that occurred in the month of July in parts of the country.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“Recently during the floods in Germany, the German Khuddam diligently served the country’s people and they appreciated your efforts. May Allah the Almighty reward all those Khuddam who carried out those services. It had a good impact upon the people. May the positive effect not be limited to the material help; rather, may it have a spiritual impact too. You should continue to go to those areas; now that you have served them once, you should take the message of love and peace to them so that you develop further contacts…It is the quality of a true believer that he tries to establish the Oneness of God Almighty at every opportunity and tries to spread the true message of Islam. May Allah the Almighty enable you all to do this.”
