Stop the Carnage
We are witnessing a catastrophic war that is causing the death of thousands of innocent civilians.
The humanitarian tragedy is being worsened by the limitations on food, water and medicine in Gaza, that is affecting millions of lives.
The actions of Hamas on 7 October were completely against the teachings of Islam and must be condemned.
The response of Israel has also exceeded all limits and is killing thousands of innocent men, women and children with millions more suffering. One and a half million people have been displaced, hospitals and schools have been devastated by bombardment and food and medical supplies are either at critical levels or have run out.
This is intolerable.
The Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has warned that as the conflict continues there is a very real and growing risk of this war spiralling into a wider global conflict that will cause untold suffering and destruction that will last for generations.
This situation must not be allowed to continue.
