We are witnessing a catastrophic war that is causing the death of thousands of innocent civilians. The humanitarian tragedy is being worsened by the limitations on food, water and medicine in Gaza, that is affecting millions of lives.

The actions of Hamas on 7 October were completely against the teachings of Islam and must be condemned. The response of Israel has also exceeded all limits and is killing thousands of innocent men, women and children with millions more suffering. This is intolerable.

His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has warned that as the conflict continues there is a very real and growing risk of this war spiralling into a wider global conflict that will cause untold suffering and destruction that will last for generations.

For the sake of peace and the sake of humanity this situation must not be allowed to continue.
