Annual Fife and Edinburgh Peace Symposium to be held online this Saturday

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a worldwide community engaged in spreading the true teachings of Islam.

In the community’s endeavour to promote peace and harmony between different faiths, the community branch in Fife and Edinburgh is organising its annual Peace Symposium this weekend.

Attending the event will be religious leaders of different faiths, councillors, police officers, charity heads and other representatives of the community.

Dr Jamil Sanuari, outreach coordinator for Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, said: “We hold the symposium for people across the UK and the world, even though globally Muslims face persecution for their beliefs, we want promote peace and harmony among other religions.

“We are here for all people, whoever they are, be they from another religion, or even a non-believer.

“We want to invite all people to the annual symposium to share ideas and to work together.”
