Ahmadi Muslims from the Baitul Futuh Mosque donate to a local charity
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association (AMEA), also known as Majlis Ansarullah, is an auxiliary organisation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The name “Ansarullah” is an Arabic expression mentioned in the Holy Qur’an meaning “helpers of God.” The AMEA comprises men of age 40 and over.
Recently, members of the AMEA from the Baitul Futuh Mosque donated groceries to a local charity, Dons Local Action Group, which aims to help those in the local community to fight poverty. It provides food parcels, household goods, furniture and appliances. Groceries donated were according to the listed items for the day i.e., canned vegetables, meat, soups and lentils.
