Volunteers from Baitul Futuh Mosque Donate Groceries to Wimbledon Food Bank
The Charity Walk for Peace (CWFP) was founded in 1985 by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association (AMEA). The AMEA aims to relieve the suffering of the poor, promote peace, understanding and goodwill among people from all walks of life.
Recently, some CWFP volunteers from the Baitul Futuh Mosque donated groceries to the Wimbledon Food Bank in Sainsbury’s Merton High Street, Colliers Wood.
Sugar, pasta sauce, ketchup and deodorants were listed as the urgently required items on the Wimbledon Food Bank website and a selection of these items was donated.
