Pedalling for peace

CYCLISTS are being urged to get on their bikes for peace. The Leamington Spa Ahmadiyya Muslim Association is inviting people to attend ‘United Against Extremism’ at the town’s Baitul Ehsan Mosque on Riverside, off Adelaide Road, on Monday September 9, starting at 7pm. The event is part of the Ride4Peace campaign, a nationwide initiative to promote peace and solidarity, which will see cyclist riding from Glasgow to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Headquarters in Surrey, with a stopover in Leamington.

The campaign also aims to raise £1 million for a variety of local, national, and international charities. In addition to attending the Unite Against Extremism event, people are also welcome to join the Leamington leg of the Ride4Peace. The riders will be gathering at Baitul Ehsan Mosque at 6.30am on the morning of September 9.
