Celebrating peace and understanding

THE AHMADIYYA Muslim Association hosted a special Iftar dinner bringing together members of the Warwickshire community in a spirit of unity and fellowship.

It took place at the Baitul Ehsan Mosque in Leamington and was attended by Warwick and Leamington MP Matt Western, mayors and deputy mayors from across Warwickshire, representatives of Warwickshire Police, and individuals representing a broad cross-section of the local community.

The evening started with a guided tour of the mosque and the Holy Qur’an Exhibition. Guests were offered an insight into Islamic teachings, the significance of Ramadan, and the peaceful message of Islam

A keynote address by Imam Ataul Mujeeb Rashid, Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Missionary in Charge UK, addressed the topic ‘Fasting: A Spiritual Experience’.The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ibrahim Bonsu, Regional President for the Midlands Ahmadiyya Muslim Association.

The formal proceedings concluded with a silent prayer led by Imam Ataul Mujeeb Rashid. Following the programme, guests enjoyed an Iftar meal together, creating a welcoming atmosphere for continued dialogue, friendship, and mutual understanding. The event embodied the true spirit of Ramadan — fostering unity, mutual respect, and stronger community ties.
