Busy Ramadan for Keighley’s Ahmadiyya Muslim community
Maintaining a tradition of charitable donations, the town’s Ahmadiyya Women’s Association presented £200 worth of essential items to Keighley Women’s Aid, which provides refuge to those fleeing domestic violence. Mrs Aliyah Salam, for the association, says: “It’s important to highlight the efforts of the dedicated staff at Keighley Women’s Aid, as demand for their services increases.” Meanwhile, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association gave £160 worth of goods to Keighley Salvation Army, which is also seeing a rise in need for its provision.
