The annual Jalsa Salana took place in Hampshire over the weekend with extra security in place.
The event, which aims to unite Ahmadiyya Muslims in their faith for three days, was attended by over 50,000 people.
It came a month after another Islamic gathering was forced to close early after 12 people were arrested over a suspected far-right threat.
MP for Carshalton and Wallington, Bobby Dean, explains why it was important he was at last weekend’s Jalsa Salana.
