Warwick District Faith Forum Faith Trail Visits Baitul Ehsan Mosque, Leamington Spa

Baitul Ehsan Mosque in Leamington Spa recently welcomed 25 guests as part of the Warwick District Faith Forum’s Faith Trail—an initiative designed to promote understanding, dialogue, and community cohesion by opening places of worship to the wider public.
The Faith Trail, organised by the Warwick District Faith Forum, brings together people of different backgrounds and beliefs, offering them the opportunity to visit a range of religious centres across the district. Through these visits, participants gain first-hand insight into the practices, values, and traditions of local faith communities, helping to foster mutual respect and stronger community ties.
During the visit to Baitul Ehsan Mosque, guests were invited to explore a special exhibition of the Holy Qur’an, showcasing copies in various languages and formats. This was followed by an introductory presentation outlining the core beliefs and values of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, including its emphasis on peace, service to humanity, and interfaith harmony.
Visitors were then given a guided tour of the mosque, where they learned about Islamic practices, the purpose of different areas within the mosque, and the role it plays as a centre for both worship and community activity. The visit concluded with an informal session, allowing guests to ask questions and engage in open, friendly discussion.
The event was further distinguished by the presence of the newly appointed High Sheriff of Warwickshire, whose attendance highlighted the importance of initiatives that strengthen community relations and celebrate the district’s diversity.
Events such as the Faith Trail continue to play a vital role in building bridges between communities, encouraging meaningful conversations, and promoting a deeper understanding of different faiths in today’s society.
