Youths spend New Year’s Day cleaning up streets of Doncaster
They were among hundreds of volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) Yorkshire, who started the new year by serving their local communities.Youths from seven AMYA Yorkshire branches took part in their annual New Year’s Day Street Clean, a tradition that has been upheld for decades.
From 5am, volunteers were out across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Spen Valley, Scunthorpe and Huddersfield, helping to clear litter and restore town and city centres following New Year’s Eve celebrations.
