VOI Attendance at the London Dangoor Awards 2025

At the latest London Dangoor Awards — organised by Faith & Belief Forum (F&BF) — Voice
of Islam (VOI) radio was honoured as one of the successful winners, joining London’s interfaith and
community-service groups celebrated for their positive social impact.

The VOI team was informed that Voice of Islam radio had won an award in the Interfaith relations category.
The organisers also asked VOI to say a few words about the radio station on the night of the awards.
Representatives of VOI radio led by Mr Rafiq Hayat (Chairman of the VOI Board), Fareed Ahmad (VOI Board member), Mr Mujeeb Mirza (Secretary of VOI) and Mr Raza Ahmed (VOI presenter) attended the awards ceremony on behalf of the organisation to receive the award.

Mr Rafiq Hayat spoke about Voice of Islam’s efforts to foster interfaith relations through Islam’s central belief in the existence of God Almighty, something that all religions have in common. He mentioned that Voice of Islam is completely self-funded and it was the vision of His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (may Allah be his Helper), the Worldwide  Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, and it reflects the motto of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s “Love for All, Hatred for None.”

The event was attended by a cross-section of dignitaries, charities and organisations that work across London’s faith and belief sector.
